Stone 1 of 7 · The word
Varde. Norwegian for a cairn.
Stones stacked by hand to mark a route. The word is old: in Old Norse, varða meant to guard, to keep watch. A varde is a stone that watches over the people who come after.
Say it: VAR-deh.

Stone 2 of 7 · The path
Across the Norwegian high country, cairns stand in lines, each within sight of the next. When fog rolls in or snow covers the path, you walk from stone to stone. Hikers still follow them today. Nobody built them in a day. Every traveler who passed added a stone.
One stone, then the next. That is the whole method.
Stone 3 of 7 · The warning
In the old Norwegian laws, hilltop beacons were kept ready along the coast. When danger came, one was lit, then the next hill answered, and the warning ran along the country faster than any rider. The watch-stone became a signal.
Seeing trouble early is the oldest job there is.
Stone 4 of 7 · Why it works
It is simple. It is out in the open. It tells you exactly where you are and where the next step is. It never guesses. A thousand years on, nothing has replaced it, because nothing needed to.
That is the standard your company's records should meet.
Stone 5 of 7 · Varde, today
Varde gathers what is scattered across email, files, books and the systems in between into one private place, and puts AI to work on it. Ask in plain language. Every answer shows its source. The numbers are computed in code, not guessed. A person signs off before anything is acted on.
Private by design. Nothing goes to public AI tools.
Stone 6 of 7 · How it is built
A coffee. A Proof Run on your own records. A pilot on one real problem. Then run with Varde, month to month. Every stone has a fixed scope and a fixed price. Your Varde runs in a separate environment set up only for you, and your data stays yours.
Coffee, Proof Run, Pilot, Run with Varde.
Stone 7 of 7 · The top stone
A cairn is finished when the last stone is placed and the route is clear. For your company, that is the day the owner stops working in the dark. It starts with a conversation.
One hour, on us.
